Kiki's HW - Assignment 7

1. I interviewed my mom and asked her a lot of questions that I haven’t asked. I learned a lot from the interview, and I know my mom is working very hard in taking care of me. All I want say is thank you mom, I love you.

Moreover, the report said that these students obtained most of their information from the site, and that 25% of the students who are using Facebook, spent more than two hours on it everyday. This is a bad situation because students should not spend so much time social networking. I mean of course making friends and communicate with friends is important, but learning is as important as well. And it’s also not good for students to staring at a monitor for so long, it’s bad for their eyes!

3. Yes, there is a huge events coming up in Taiwan, and it’s Taiwan’s 2012 presidential election. This is a very important event for the Taiwanese citizen to participate because this event matters to Taiwan’s future. For now, it is kind hard to predict who will win the election because the current poll for the three candidates is really close. This is great news and I am happy because Taiwan needs to participate in more international events like this.

Mom: I have no ideas. But the person who will keep his promises to the people is the best.
Me: Thank you for your answers.
Mom: You are welcome.
By interviewing my mom, I learned that a president should not only take care of the people, but also, keep his promises.

2. Recently in Taiwan, there is a lot of news about the presidential election that is coming. The battle is between the two major political parties in Taiwan, the KMT and the DDP. Of course, both parties try to recommend itself, but it’s questionable if they will do as promise. I think they should try their best to achieve their policy, if it’s good, rather than saying and do nothing.

3. As previously mentioned, there is an important presidential election coming in Taiwan. However, if KMT is going to change to DDP, then it is expectable that some of Taiwan’s current policy may change. For Taiwanese people, it is important that they should know a change in government will either make you rich, or poorer.
Friendly suggestion: I think it is a good thing if we have a change in government this year, because the current political party, the KMT, is not doing well. I think it’s time to give DDP a chance to see if they can and will change Taiwan as they promised.

4. Dear penpal:
